Since 1981, our nation has set aside the month of March each year to recognize extraordinary women in our country's history. The national theme for 2020 is "“Valiant Women of the Vote: 100 Year Anniversary."
The Women's Resource Center has made a tradition of recognizing the accomplishments and contributions of La Plata County women at the annual Extraordinary Women Award dinner, which will be held this year on March 25, from 5:30-8:00pm, at the DoubleTree Hotel.
Come relive the Roaring 20s at the Women’s Resource Center’s celebration of Women’s History Month honoring Valiant Women of the Vote! Buffet dinner, live auction, live music and dancing. 1920s dress/costume is highly encouraged.
