Since Governor Polis announced the state-wide stay at home order in March due to coronavirus, Women's Resource Center (WRC) has seen an uptick in clients of 25% and client demand has deviated drastically toward basic needs such as emergency housing, utilities, food and financial assistance. For the health and safety of community members, staff and volunteers, WRC canceled the majority of fundraising activities, leaving a budgetary deficit.
